Barbara J. Blumer, JD Barb Blumer has been advising Minnesota housing and health care programs serving seniors for over 30 years. During that time, Barb has been a strong voice for the interests of both senior housing providers and seniors in the creation and implementation of Minnesota’s unique regulatory system for senior housing and assisted living. Barb also led the Minnesota State Bar Association initiative to establish the Minnesota Health Care Directive in 1998 and continues to provide leadership in various aspects of advance care planning law and policy.
